Pre-Delivery Instructions and Requirements

We appreciate you choosing Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas as your
spa dealer. In order to ensure the smooth and safe delivery of your
spa, listed below is important information that must be read and
acknowledged before we can deliver your spa.

*****************************************************************
Delivery Access
  • You must provide a clear pathway to the spa site.
First, locate the dimensions of your spa on the following chart. The dimensions shown are the measurements of the spa in the vertical position on a typical delivery cart or dolly. Check with your dealer for an exact measurement.

Note: It may be necessary to allow for additional overhead clearance if the spa will be rolled up an incline or moved up stairs.

Next, use the information and apply it to the diagram below to determine the feasibility of access. Keep in mind that the spas will remain on the dolly at all times. It may be necessary for you to remove a gate or fence to provide an unobstructed passageway.

Electrical Requirements
  •  115V HotSpring Spas
115V models require a dedicated 20 amp circuit. This circuit is not supplied by Inland         Empire Hot Spring Spas and should be run by someone experienced with electrical wiring, or by a qualified electrician, at the customer's expense. The spas come with their own waterproof GFCI box, and the delivery crew will install it on delivery. The electrician should have ready a single-gang box with three wires ready for hookup (hot, neutral and ground)
  • 220V Hot Spring Spas
220V models come with a separate sub panel that Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas will provide to the customer's electrician. It is the customer's responsibility to have the electrician wire and mount the sub panel to a proper location, and then to run from the sub panel to the spa location the proper wires for final hookup. These wires should be housed in 3/4" flexible conduit. The delivery crews are not electricians, cannot hookup or run electrical wires. Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas has complete electrical guidelines for the electricians, available on request.
  • 220V Spas (not Hot Spring)
All 220V wiring is the customer's responsibility. Delivery crews cannot run wiring. Details on wiring non-HotSpring 220V models will be provided ahead of delivery.
Our Responsibilities
